Other activities on the Site require a User Account. Specifically, creating Reading Trails™ threads and commenting on another user’s Reading Trails™ threads require you to have a User Account. When you are logged into a User Account and using the Site, Reading Trails may collect information about you and correlate that information with your User Account. You should note that you may have the option of automatically logging into your User Account upon visiting the Site.
C. Personally Identifying Information
We may ask for some Personal Information when you create a User Account that may personally identify you, including your name, a profile picture, your email address, a password, physical address, company name, profession, status as an author or as a professor, email address, or phone number (any of which may be referred to as “Personally Identifying Information”). You may add to, update, or correct your Personal Information associated with your User Account at any time by visiting your account profile page. You may control the information that is available to other users at any time by editing “Identification Settings” of your User Account.
D. Usage Information
We may record information about your usage of the Site, including, the order in which you view Reading Trails™ threads, books, intersections, or items in a trail, the times you visit or use the Site, communications on the Site with other users of the Site, the links you follow from the Site. While you are logged into your User Account, we may correlate any of your usage information with your User Account. Additionally, we may send emails to the email address associated with your User Account and may use tracking methods or devices to monitor and collect information about your usage of those emails.

We use your Personal Information to improve the quality and design of the Site and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, analyzing, and processing your information. When you create a User Account on the Site, some information about your User Account and your activities related to your User Account and Submissions will be provided to other users of the site. This may include your account name (or username), the date you opened your account, the date you last logged into your account, your Reading Trails™ threads, any book selections, and your comments.
Your account name is displayed to other users when you engage in certain activity on the site, such as submitting comments or sending messages via the Site. Other Users can contact you through messages and comments. You may also choose to add Personal Information that will visible to other users. This may include a profile picture, your name, age, gender, or other Personally Identifying Information.

Apart from the public display of such information that may be controlled by you, we will not share or disclose Personally Identifying Information to unrelated third parties.
We may share or disclose Personal Information related to your account, including information related to your Reading Trails™ threads, reviews, and other Submissions to third parties unrelated to us for the purpose of providing recommendations or reviews of books or item in trails. We may also engage in other activities that are covered under the our rights in Submissions, as defined in the Terms of Use.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. 5. Use of Cookies/Pixel Tags

In the event that Reading Trails sells substantially all of its assets, or one of its units are acquired, Personally Identifying Information of visitors to the Site and aggregate information will likely be one of the transferred assets.
